AP McCoy: Not making the trip to Perth

Tony McCoy will miss his rides at Perth today but is expected to be back in action at Market Rasen when jumps racing resumes on Sunday.

The record-breaking 19-times champion jockey took a crashing fall from Flemenson at the second-last flight when looking set for success at Worcester on Wednesday, but still went to complete the second leg of a double there on Full Throttle.

However, he gave up his two remaining rides on the card and decided not to make the journey to Scotland, where he had four mounts booked.

"He's having a day off. He's a bit sore. He'll be back at Market Rasen on Sunday," said his agent Dave Roberts.
