Our gallops reporter has the latest on some of Sir Michael Stoute's runners at Royal Ascot with Bold Sniper set to go well.

SNOW SKY blew out ahead of the King Edward VII Stakes with an unexacting piece of work on Long Hill.

Accompanied by three stablemates, the Sir Michael Stoute-trained colt looks completely recovered from the minor joint problem that prevented him contesting the Investec Derby.

He covered four furlongs with BOLD SNIPER and RUSSIAN REALM, who also run on Friday, and the Hardwicke Stakes-bound HILLSTAR.

Bold Sniper looked a shade unlucky when beaten on his reappearance at Newmarket, while Russian Realm should be ideally suited by the seven furlongs of his race.

ALONG AGAIN came out best in another four horse group.

She came up with Newmarket runners INHERITANCE and MAIRISE as well as Goodwood-bound DIANORA.

The quartet quickened from the three and a half to the four with Along Again holding Inheritance by half a length.

STAMPEDE was the next up with SIR ROSCO and they were followed by EYE CONTACT and TERCEL.

PAS DE CHEVAL came up solo, as did ECONOMY.

ADORE went well while ASTONISHING was the last horse up, going solo.
