Duke Of Firenze: Worked on Saturday

Duke Of Firenze: Worked on Saturday

Sir Michael Stoute took his team of workers to the Al Bahathri Polytrack facility this morning where that number included a couple of promising two-year-olds.

Ryan Moore did the steering on DIANORA but this filly was unable to win the work. Though continuing to show abundant promise, on this occasion Dianora had to give best to HEHO.

ADORE also showed ability in the workout but it was Heho, a daughter of Dansili, who held the call at the business end.

INTRINSIC looked to be on a pronounced going day as she proved too strong for PROXIMATE.

The tempo was markedly stepped-up between the six and the half-mile poles, with Intrinsic pulling a length and a half clear.

RUSSIAN REALM has thrived since his recent snug triumph at Salisbury and he looked in good heart in a solo spin.

DEFENDANT then traversed the same strip of ground to master ALTHAROOS.

EVANGELIST engaged in single file work, followed at identical intervals by DUKE OF FIRENZE and DUKE COSIMO.

Evangelist hasn't really gone forward since opening his account but cut in the ground sealed his fate at Chester.

Earlier in the week RADIATOR went well in some work with a colt, but the form from that 'home' evidence hasn't worked out as anticipated.
