Nicky Henderson: Plenty of talent in the ranks
Nicky Henderson enjoyed an excellent day on Saturday at Ascot and he looks set for a bountiful week, having worked a large batch of horses set to run over the coming days.
TITAN DE SARTI works as well as most horses in the Seven Barrows academy and looks set to for action at Kempton next week.
He returned to the fray at Cheltenham last month, but his backers knew their fate early when he was already being niggled along.
However, he did stay on to do his best work at the finish and in current mood should soon go one better.
He looked in grand order in this middle-paced stretch.
PRINCE OF PIRATES has been an up-and-down performer but there is no doubting the gelding's ability if in the mood.
He has schooled nicely over practice fences and should go well in a graduation chase next week.
MUSH MIR operates well round the smaller tracks, especially when getting his own way in front.
He's a mercurial performer, however, and after working well on Saturday morning will soon be out to add to his laurels.
MAKARI has a penalty to carry after a comeback win, but this likeable sort moved beautifully and should have good prospects of following-up in a novice hurdle.
GOLDEN HOOF showed promise when second on his only start and is another that's been going nicely.
SPARTAN ANGEL looks an interesting addition to the novice hurdlers at the yard and after winning a bumper, he can successfully move into the jumping ranks.
