Simonsig heads a wide-open betting market for the William Hill King George VI Chase after 37 horses were entered for the Boxing Day spectacular.
Reigning champion Silviniaco Conti is one of five entered by reigning champion trainer Paul Nicholls for the prestigious Grade One and he is quoted at 6/1 by Sky Bet for the race with Simonsig the 5/1 market-leader.
He makes his return to action this season after missing the last campaign through injury.
A strong Irish contingent includes the Willie Mullins trio of Champagne Fever, Ballycasey and Boston Bob, while impressive JNWine.com Champion Chase winner Road To Riches, trained by Noel Meade, is another eyecatching possible runner.
Cue Card is an 8/1 chance with Sky Bet, ahead of Champagne Fever, David Pipe's Dynaste and Road To Riches, who are all quoted at 10/1.
Among the others to take the eye in the entries were Sir Des Champs, another sidelined last season through injury, and last season's RSA Chase second and third, Smad Place and Morning Assembly.
