The Sky Sports News-owned horse On Demand finished eighth at Bath on Sunday as she continues to search for her first victory.
The three-year-old filly had been a gallant second on her last start and was sent off a 7/1 shot for the Clip Exhibition and Display Handicap.
But, although she ran a solid race in the mile and a quarter event, she could not quite get involved in the finish.
The Andrew Balding-trained filly was settled in mid-division by rider David Probert and travelled quite nicely into the straight.
However, she then came under pressure from her jockey and could only stay on at the one pace in the final stages.
The 10/1 shot Urban Space took the spoils, beating Strait Run (14/1) into second by half a length after a good finish, with Zambeasy (8/1) third.
Balding told skysports.com: “It was a disappointing run from On Demand. She was up there in the betting, but she ran in mid-division and ended up finishing there.
“She hasn’t got a great turn of foot and, with the turf soft at this time of the year, making up ground is very hard work.
“But the important thing is she has come out of the race in good shape and she ate up the morning after, which is always a positive sign.”
