QEII beckons for Tonto

Top Notch Tonto's attentions will once again return to the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on the back of a fair run in Ireland at the weekend.
Brian Ellison's distinctive-looking chestnut finished second in the Champions Day centrepiece last season and finally appears to be coming to the boil following a moderate run of form this summer.
The four-year-old was only narrowly denied in a big handicap at York during the Ebor Festival, after which he finished a good fourth in the Group Two Boomerang Mile at Leopardstown on Saturday.
Owner Keith Brown said: "He only got beaten around two lengths, so we were very happy with him as the ground at Leopardstown was like a road.
"The poor horse has not had anything in his favour all season, but the jockey (Colm O'Donoghue) got off and said this horse will eventually win a very, very big race.
"Once he gets his ground and luck in running, you watch him fly.
"He's now going for the QEII, weather depending, but we are desperate for some rain."
