Toormore remains on course for a likely trip to Turkey on Sunday week for the International Topkapi Trophy at Veliefendi.
Last season's champion juvenile failed to make a significant impact in either the 2000 Guineas or the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, but his narrow second in the Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood was a step in the right direction.
The three-year-old is now pencilled in for a trip to Istanbul, with the Boomerang Stakes at Leopardstown another option should connections have a change of heart.
Tim Palin, racing manager for owners Middleham Park Racing, said: "It is not absolutely cast-iron that he'll be going to Turkey, but that is the preferred option and the wheels are in motion regarding travel arrangements. If he is going there he'll travel over early next week to give him some time to settle in.
"Producer won the race last year, so it's a tried and tested route for the Hannons and the winner receives well over £200,000, so it's a big pot.
"Looking at the entries, I think there's every chance he'll go off favourite or second-favourite, so it's the right race to run him in and he must go there with a live chance.
"If for whatever reason we decide against travelling to Istanbul, the obvious alternative is the Boomerang Stakes at Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend, but Turkey is favourite at this stage."
