Penitent heading International

Penitent heads the weights for Saturday's Longines International Handicap after 65 horses stood their ground for the race.
The David O'Meara-trained eight-year-old has been a fine money-spinner for owners Middleham Park Racing in recent seasons and connections will be hoping for some rain ahead of Saturday.
Beneath Penitent after Monday's acceptance stage comes Gabriel's Lad, winner of the Victoria Cup over the same track and seven-furlong trip on his penultimate start.
The likes of Horsted Keynes, Bronze Angel, Ayaar and Belgian Bill, all of whom were already prominent in the ante-post betting, have all stood their ground for the seven-furlong £150,000 contest.
