Al Kazeem ready for Newbury return

Multiple Group One winner Al Kazeem is set to make his eagerly-anticipated return to action in the Doom Bar Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.
The six-year-old claimed the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh, the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot and Sandown's Coral-Eclipse during a stunning campaign in 2013, after which he was retired to the Royal Studs in Sandringham after being bought by the Queen.
However, after reportedly getting only around 25 mares in foal, he returned to training with Roger Charlton in May and is now ready for his competitive comeback.
Charlton said: "At the moment, it's looking likely he will run on Saturday.
"I'm very pleased with him. He looks fit and well and I think he's fairly straight.
"It's a Listed race and he gets in without a penalty, so it's a good place for him to go.
"There is talk of some rain tonight and there are showers forecast for the weekend, which wouldn't be against us."
