Stone of Folca has officially entered the Guinness Book of World Records as holding the fastest recorded five-furlong time.
John Best's sprinter clocked 53.69 seconds, the quickest since electronic timing began, in the Investec Specialist Bank Dash at Epsom on the 2012 Derby Day.
It has now been ratified by the British Horseracing Authority as well as the record keepers.
"I'm delighted that Stone Of Folca has officially been recognised as the fastest racehorse, it's a great achievement," said Best.
The gelding is entered in the same race again on June 7.
