We won the CSP European Free Handicap last year with Garswood and will try to do the same with Parbold on Tuesday.
They're two very different horses but they would be similar in terms of ability and we're very happy with Parbold at home. He's an exciting horse for this season and there should be plenty more to come.
The Craven was an option but we're starting him off over seven here and he's ready to run with Jimmy Fortune booked to ride. His pedigree raises doubts about the mile but he looks like he'll stay to me and you'd like to think he could go on to the Guineas and run well.
If we do go there, obviously Kingman is the one to beat. I was very impressed with him at Newbury on Saturday but the focus for us is Wednesday's race before we worry about him.
Sandiva runs in the Nell Gwynn and I see she's been made favourite for the race.
I'm slightly put off by her draw out wide in four which is a good way from the fence, but otherwise she looks to have every chance.
She's a very relaxed filly with natural speed and she's brilliant at home, so I can't see why she shouldn't stay seven furlongs and a mile.
At this stage she's where she needs to be at home and is certainly ready for a run, and as with Parbold we'll see how she gets on before making further plans.
On Thursday we introduce Lacing, an unraced Cheveley Park filly, in the Montaz Restaurant EBF Stallions Maiden Fillies' Stakes.
It's usually a good race - Rizeena and Kiyoshi were beaten in it last year and we introduced a nice one in Dutch Courage who finished in the pack - so it's hard to know what to expect.
Again, I'd prefer not to be drawn so wide but she's quite a nice filly who we do like and we'll see how she gets on. I mentioned her as one to look out for earlier in the season and she certainly looks to have ability.
Heaven's Guest has a few pounds to find in the Connaught Access Flooring Abernant Stakes and he didn't look good enough on his return at Doncaster.
The one thing you'd say is that he does take a lot of getting fit so that run will have brought him on plenty, as again will this one.
On paper he's up against it but he goes well for Ryan and we take our chance.
