Module is to tackle two and a half miles in the Melling Chase at Aintree following his creditable effort in the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
Tom George believes the course and distance will be ideal for the seven-year-old, who did him proud when taking third place behind Sire de Grugy in the two-mile showpiece at Cheltenham.
Connections opted for that race rather than go for the Ryanair Chase over the longer distance.
"We were thrilled with him and he's back to the same weight he was the day before he ran. He's come out of it unbelievably well," said the Slad handler.
"The plan is very much to go to Aintree for the two-and-a-half-mile chase.
"We always had it in our minds we'd step him up to two and a half miles there rather than at Cheltenham, as we thought he might not quite get home.
"That trip on a flat track should be exactly his cup of tea."
