Paul Townend: Escaped serious injury in fall
Paul Townend and Mark Walsh were not seriously injured after the two jockeys suffered falls on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival.
Townend was brought down aboard Adriana Des Mottes in the JCB Triumph Hurdle, while Walsh parted company with Competitive Edge in the Grand Annual.
Dr Adrian McGoldrick, senior Irish Turf Club medical officer, said: "Paul had a muscle spasm after his fall but he should be fine.
"Mark went to hospital to have X-rays on his chest, but they came back clear and he discharged himself."
