Bryan Cooper is none the worse for his fall at Naas on Sunday and is looking forward to the four days of the Cheltenham Festival.

The number one rider for the powerful Gigginstown House Stud operation was thrown to the ground when Allied Victory came to grief in the Sunday Market At Naas Racecourse Maiden Hurdle, and although rising to his feet he was assessed for some moments by paramedics.

He was badly winded and had a soft tissue injury on his forehead from the force of his helmet.

As a result he has to pass the course doctor before being allowed to ride on Tuesday. However, he was able to make the journey over from Ireland to Cheltenham on Sunday night as planned.

"I'm fine, 100 per cent," he said.

"I'm looking forward to all my rides this week."

He has three rides on the opening day - Valseur Lido in the opening Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle, Trifolium in the Racing Post Arkle Challenge Trophy and Art Of Logistics in the Rewards4Racing Novices' Handicap Chase.
