The grandstand was shut throughout last year after the structure was damaged during the previous winter.
Arena Racing Company has now confirmed the building will not reopen, although plans for a replacement have yet to be decided.
A statement from ARC read: "The current grandstand is being demolished and we will be replacing that with temporary facilities for the coming season whilst we consider the options for permanent replacements.
"Investment this year has been made into the racing facilities, toilets, owners and trainers facilities and new marquees, including kitchens and bars in all of the back of house areas having taken the catering services in house."
Remedial and refurbishment works to the weighing room and jockeys' changing facilities had already been announced last month after problems with flooding in that area forced the early abandonment of a meeting last October.
