David Marnane believes He's No Saint will relish the step up in trip he will encounter in the Al Bastakiya at Meydan.

The three-year-old colt will bid to book his place in the UAE Derby on Dubai World Cup night (March 29) when he lines-up in the Listed contest over nine and a half furlongs.

He's No Saint looked a bright prospect when making a successful Tapeta debut in the Meydan Classic Trial over seven furlongs earlier this month, staying on strongly to defeat Make It Reel by two lengths.

"He runs on Super Saturday in the Al Bastakiya. We're delighted with him. He's improved a good bit and he looks like he's training very well," said County Tipperary-based Marnane.

"We want to take a chance and step him up in trip. He's out of a Kris S mare (Stellar Brilliant) and seems to be crying out for a bit further.

"We're delighted with him so fingers crossed he runs well there and we'll make a decision then about the UAE Derby."
