Officials at Ludlow have called an 8am inspection on raceday morning ahead of Wednesday's fixture.
Clerk of the course Bob Davies assessed conditions at the track on Tuesday morning and reports the venue to be fit for action, but the threat of overnight rain has prompted him to call an early check.
He said: "We were fine to race yesterday and would be fine to race today, but we will have a look in the morning due to the forecast.
"The Metcheck forecast is not too bad and we ought to be OK judged on that.
"Everything is fine at the moment, but we will obviously have to see how much rain we get - you just never know how accurate the forecast will be."
