Trainer Rebecca Curtis feels the race will come too soon after his effort in the Welsh National over Christmas when he came home last of the nine finishers.
Third in the Grand National last year, his campaign will be built around going back to Aintree in April.
"It's probably unlikely that he'll run (at Warwick)," said Curtis.
"I think it is just coming too soon after the Welsh National. Also he'd have to carry top weight in heavy ground.
"I wouldn't have thought we'd go back to Haydock (National Trial) as he didn't enjoy it last year.
"He'll have an entry at Doncaster at the end of this month (Sky Bet Chase, January 25) and he might go there."
Stablemate Boyfromnowhere is also entered in the Classic Chase, but Curtis said:
"He's also in at Catterick on Thursday in the North Yorkshire National and he could go there instead."
