Seek Again: Hollywood Derby victor on Sunday evening
Seek Again claimed a Grade One win on Sunday as he landed the Hollywood Derby for John Gosden.
The three-year-old finished fifth in the Cambridgeshire back in September and was last seen winning a handicap at York in October.
However, he stepped up on that form to run out a one-and-a-half-length winner of the Hollywood Park contest for jockey Corey Nakatani.
"I was extremely confident. Any time you see the Juddmonte colors and a horse shipping from England, you know they're going to have a big turn of foot and it's just a matter (of) if they can handle the tighter turns," Nakatani told www.bloodhorse.com.
"He seemed to handle it. (Gosden) said he had trained him on the left handed tracks before shipping him here."
Gosden's assistant Les Reynolds added: "He's been a horse that's been slow to (find) himself. He just took a while to get going.
"I told Corey to just make sure he changed leads because he might be a little inexperienced against these guys. But he did it well and I'm very, very pleased."
