Green Door: Heading to the sales
Qatar Racing and Pearl Bloodstock's high-profile winners Extortionist and Green Door are among 30 horses from the operation heading to next week's Horses In Training sale at Tattersalls.
Extortionist won the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot for first-season trainer Olly Stevens, and was third to his stablemate in the Flying Childers at Doncaster.
David Redvers, racing and bloodstock manager Qatar Racing and Pearl, said: "The intention from the outset has always been to run the operation on as commercial a basis as possible.
"Our first Royal Ascot winner, Frederick Engels, was sold to continue his career in Hong Kong and we hope that the horses we sell next week will continue to be good advertisements for Qatar Racing and Pearl Bloodstock.
"In addition to the Pattern-class horses, there are some lightly-raced, unexposed winners and runners included in the consignment. We have been busy buying yearlings for next year and the reason for selling is simply to make way for next year's crop."
Among others listed in the catalogue are Anna's Pearl, Fracking, Mystique Rider, Hard Divorce, Floating Ballerino and Sniper.
