Ambiance: Heading to the sales next month
Ambiance will go to the sales next month following his disappointing run at Doncaster last Friday.
The Listed-winning colt, trained by Mick Channon and owned by Prince Faisal, finished last in the Flying Childers Stakes.
Before that, though, he had shown a degree of promise to take fourth spot in the Group One Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh in August. He also finished third in the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood in July.
Ted Voute, racing manager for Prince Faisal, said: "I was disappointed with him at Doncaster - he didn't appear to go a yard from the moment the stalls opened.
"He'll go in the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale at the end of October, but I don't know whether he'll have a run beforehand.
"We thought we'd sell him while he still didn't have a great deal of mileage on the clock. He's been a good, fun horse, but he doesn't fit in with the Prince's long-term plans."
