Producer: Landed big race in Turkey on Sunday
British trained horses landed both feature races at Veliefendi, Turkey, on Sunday courtesy of Lost In The Moment and Producer.
The former came from last to first to claim the Group Two International Bosphorus Cup.
Mickael Barzalona was content to place the Saeed bin Suroor-trained six-year-old at the rear of the field as fellow British raider Ambivalent made a lot of the running.
Roger Varian's filly and Nymphea battled it out up front until Lost In The Moment came with a sweeping run on the outside to grab the honours by a length. Ambivalent stuck on for second by a nose from Nymphea.
"He has run a huge race to win like that," Bin Suroor told www.godolphin.com
"He was behind but finished well and has the class to succeed over a mile and a half though he might be better at two miles.
"Lost In The Moment seems to be improving still at the age of six. There are no plans at the moment for him but we will bring him home and see how he comes out of this victory."
Richard Hughes came from way back on Producer to snatch the spoils from fellow British rider Chil The Kite in the International Topkapi Trophy.
The latter, trained by Hughie Morrison, looked to have the race in the bag after George Baker got a dream run on the rail but Hughes had other ideas.
Richard Hannon's charge got up in the dying strides to win by a head with White Ram only a neck away third. Hannon's other runner Libranno was fifth and Bin Suroor's Quick Wit was seventh.
