Kingsgate Choice could line up for the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp after another fine run in a good-class sprint.
The latest effort by Ed de Giles' stable star saw him go down by only a length in fourth place behind Dutch Masterpiece in the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.
He had filled a similar position at York when beaten three-quarters of a length behind Jwala, who won the Nunthorpe Stakes on the Knavesmire last week.
The six-year-old had earned the right to step up in grade after lifting two good handicaps before that.
"He's not run a bad race for us and at least he has won two for us this season and that's the main thing," said De Giles.
"He was fourth to Jwala at York in July and she went on to win the Nunthorpe last week and Heeraat, who was second, has won a Group Three since and we were all in a blanket finish that day.
"We didn't have a great draw in Ireland. I'm not saying we would have won had we been drawn high, but we'd have been in with more of a shout. He's run with credit.
"He's absolutely grand - I could run him tomorrow.
"We'll have to think about the Abbaye and then maybe Dubai. He wants quick ground, that's the only thing about the Abbaye. It should be quicker up the final furlong track.
"I'll have to look at the programme book to see what there might be for him in Dubai.
"They are all ideas. It might be 10 years before I get another one like him."
