Cammidge Trophy winner Jack Dexter is set to return to Doncaster for the Bet365 Handicap over the same six furlongs on Saturday.

Trainer Jim Goldie is tempted to take his progressive sprinter back to Town Moor for a valuable handicap despite being raised 7lb to a mark of 109 for his recent Listed success.

"The plan is to run. We've asked him some big questions and this will be another one," said the Glasgow-based handler.

"He goes there in good form, he's won there twice already so we'll try to get a third."

Goldie's other sprinting star Hawkeyethenoo, last year's Stewards' Cup scorer, has been pencilled in to make his seasonal debut in the Abernant Stakes at Newmarket next week.

"He's very good and we'll probably aim for the Abernant. He's in good order, but the weather is still very cold and horses still think it's January!," Goldie added.

"I'm sure Scottish horses don't feel the cold as those in Newmarket. At least ours are used to it."
