Sunnyhillboy: Misses Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup

Sky Bet

Sunnyhillboy missed the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup, freeing Tony McCoy up to ride Sir Des Champs.

Willie Mullins and Michael O'Leary have been looking for a jockey for their leading fancy since Davy Russell was ruled out with a punctured lung.

McCoy is now likely to head their short-list with Jonjo O'Neill taking Sunnyhillboy out because of a bad scope. Stablemate Cloudy Copper also misses the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle having been cast in his box.
