Rebecca Curtis is hoping Cheltenham catches some of the forecast rain this week as she prepares leading contender At Fishers Cross for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle.

The highly-progressive six-year-old booked his Festival ticket when proving too strong for highly-regarded The New One at Prestbury Park on trials day in January.

Galvanised by Tony McCoy, the six-year-old stayed on strongly after the last to account for the odds-on favourite by a neck in a thrilling finish.

That came on heavy ground over an extended two and a half miles and while he is in the Neptune over two-miles-five at the big meeting, the three-mile Albert Bartlett is his expected target.

Curtis said: "He's very good and came out of his last race really well.

"We are just hoping for a bit of rain there."
