Paul Hanagan continued his recent run of form at the Dubai Racing Carnival as he sealed a double by taking the UAE Oaks aboard Saeed Bin Suroor's Shuruq at Meydan on Thursday.
Shuruq led home Mahmood Al Zarooni's Lovely Pass by four lengths and her stablemate Music Chart was a quarter of a length behind to complete a clean sweep of the placings in the Group Three contest for Godolphin.
The suspensions of Silvestre De Sousa and Ahmed Ajtebi opened the door for Hanagan to come in for the winning mount, the rider having earlier taken the one-mile handicap with Mufarrh.
The jockey's two victories closed the gap on Tadhg O'Shea in the local jockeys' championship standings, Hanagan now joint-third with Wayne Smith in 20 behind O'Shea's 23 and Richard Mullen's 22..
O'Shea, who was serving a one-fixture ban, remains on 23 wins, with Richard Mullen on 22.
