Racing has not taken place at the Nottinghamshire venue since November 20 due to flooding which affected the facilities as well as the Fibresand surface.
While a lot of the ground floor is still out of bounds, the BHA course inspectorate is happy for racing to take place.
"The course inspectorate has been round checking that everything is in place facility wise that we need for racing to go ahead," said clerk of the course Roderick Duncan.
"There will be limited public facilities, but everything is in place for racing to go ahead. Most of the ground-floor facilities will be closed for the first few meetings.
"We had trial gallops and the trainers and jockeys reported everything was OK and we are back in action."
Local trainers Scott Dixon and Alan McCabe worked horses on the track with jockeys Tom Eaves and Nicky Mackay in the saddle while jockey/trainer Ann Stokell gave one of her horses a spin.
