Southwell's National Hunt meeting on Monday has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Jump racing was supposed to resume next week at the venue which has been closed since November 20.
However, officials are hopeful all-weather racing will take place on Tuesday.
Clerk of the course Roderick Duncan said: "Unfortunately we've had to abandon. We are forecast another 20 millimetres of rain and the course isn't going to improve."
Duncan is now looking forward to the resumption of all-weather racing next week, adding: "The all-weather is going the right way and we shouldn't have any problems racing on Tuesday and Wednesday."
