Ayr: Survived third inspection
Wednesday afternoon's meeting at Ayr survived three inspections and goes ahead as planned.
Frost was the big concern at the Scottish venue, but temperatures have risen sufficiently during the morning for the jumps fixture to be given the thumbs-up.
A protracted third inspection at 12pm revealed a positive outcome, with the going officially soft.
Ayr's card, an additional fixture granted last week by the British Horseracing Authority in response to the wintry weather, is the first turf racing to take place since last Thursday.
