Emma Lavelle: Enjoyed a red-letter day
Emma Lavelle enjoyed a day to remember with an across-the-card 125-1 four-timer from as many runners which included a double at Doncaster.
Easter Meteor and Court By Surprise struck for the Andover trainer at the South Yorkshire venue, with Highland Lodge doing the business at Cheltenham and Court In Motion successful at Lingfield.
"An unbelievable day and all in proper races. I wish I could bottle it. It's the first time I've had four in a day. We'd had a treble just once before," she said after Court By Surprise (6-1) had completed the four-timer by just a nose in the BetVictor Non Runner Free Bet At Cheltenham Handicap Chase under Dougie Costello.
"Court By Surprise deserved a decent win. He's just got better and better."
Easter Meteor (2-1 favourite) opened the Lavelle scoring at Doncaster in the Follow At BetVictorRacing On Twitter Handicap Chase.
Making all under Dominic Elsworth, Easter Meteor saw off Midnight Sail by four and a half lengths.
"Easter Meteor did it really well. He's a lovely honest horse and he jumps his fences properly," said Lavelle.
"He gains ground at every fence and that makes a lot of difference. He's getting better with time.
"He'll go up in the weights after today so we'll just see, but it would be lovely to go to the Cheltenham Festival with him. He likes good ground and hopefully that's what we will get."
