Fifteen entries have been received for the Grade Two event, saved from Huntingdon's abandoned card this week.
Among them is Gold Cup runner-up The Giant Bolster, with trainer David Bridgewater unconcerned by a drop back in trip for the seven-year-old.
He said: "He won very easily over two-mile-five at Cheltenham when he won the Murphy Group Chase so I'm sure he'll be fine. But you never know until you run them.
"He's very well at home and he's come on from his race at Haydock. I'm very pleased with him and I'm delighted that Exeter is staging the race.
Other possibles include the Philip Hobbs-trained Menorah and Wishfull Thinking, who won the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham in November, while Paul Nicholls has entered Cristal Bonus, Ghizao and Poquelin.
Dan Breen could represent David Pipe, with Nicky Henderson able to call on the consistent French Opera and Jonjo O'Neill's dual Ryanair Chase winner Albertas Run in contention for a first outing since Aintree in April.
