This afternoon's meeting at Bangor goes ahead after the track passed a second inspection.
Clerk of the course Andrew Morris took an initial look at 8am but was able to give the meeting the go-ahead after another check around an hour later.
He said: "Racing goes ahead. It's now light so we've been able to make a proper assessment and we're convinced we've missed nothing.
"The course is fit to race and we're happy to be racing. It has now started raining, but at least we are on."
