Finian's Rainbow: King George possible
All of the main players have stood their ground after 21 horses were left in the entry list for the William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on Boxing Day.
Long Run, the winner of the race in 2010, is one of three horses left in the contest by trainer Nicky Henderson alongside stablemates Finian's Rainbow and Riverside Theatre.
Meanwhile Paul Nicholls, who has dominated the race thanks to the exploits of Kauto Star in recent seasons, could be represented by that horse's half-brother Kauto Stone, recent Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Al Ferof and Cristal Bonus.
Grands Crus, pulled up when favourite for the Paddy Power, has since undergone a wind operation, but remains a possible starter in the King George.
Possible Irish starters are Sir des Champs, First Lieutenant and Sizing Europe, while Philip Hobbs has entered Captain Chris, Menorah and Wishfull Thinking.
The possible line-up is completed by Albertas Run, Champion Court, Cue Card, For Non Stop, Hunt Ball. Nacrat, The Giant Bolster and Wayward Prince.
