John Ferguson has revealead that New Year's Eve and Cotton Mill are both set to return to the track at Sandown on December 8.
The former was a hugely impressive winner of a couple of bumpers last season and finished second to Champagne Fever when favourite for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.
Cotton Mill won his first three starts over hurdles last term and was placed at Grade One level at Aintree in the spring.
"New Year's Eve is in great nick and the plan is to start him off in a novice hurdle at Sandown on Tingle Creek day," said Ferguson.
"He's going along nicely and I'm looking forward to seeing him run again.
"Cotton Mill is also in good form and the plan is for him to run at Sandown on the same day in a Listed race called the December Handicap Hurdle."
