John Hales' Neptune Collonges will parade at Warwick on Wednesday
Neptune Collonges, winner of last season's John Smith's Grand National, will parade at Warwick racecourse on Wednesday.
Fresh from his victory at Cheltenham on Saturday with Al Ferof in the Paddy Power Gold Cup Steeplechase, owner John Hales will be parading his 2012 John Smith's Grand National winner, Neptune Collonges, at Warwick Racecourse's midweek jumps fixture on Wednesday 21st November.
Neptune Collonges won the Grand National in April and was immediately retired by his owner John Hales after the race.
His daughter Lisa has been retraining him and he has recently won his first dressage competition with a score of 79%.
Neptune Collonges was purchased by Highflyer Bloodstock who sponsor The Highflyer Four Year Old Chase, the only race for four year olds in the racing calendar.
David Minton, one of the agents at Highflyer Bloodstock, will talk about how they found Neptune Collonges and the wonderful career he has had.
Huw Williams, General Manager at Warwick Racecourse, said "This is a fantastic opportunity for people to see the Winner of the John Smith's Grand National and find out about the story of his career and what he will be up to in the future. We are extremely grateful to the Hales family for giving up their time to bring him to our second National Hunt fixture of the season."
