Hawkeyethenoo: Heading out to Hong Kong
Hawkeyethenoo is to fly the flag for Scotland in one of the world's richest races, the Group One Longines Hong Kong Sprint on December 9.
Jim Goldie's improving speedster has been giving an invitation to run in the £1.2m dash after enjoying a memorable season that included victory in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood.
The Uplawmoor trainer said: "His best career run was when second in the Group Two race at Ascot on Champions Day recently and we'll give him a quiet time before building him up for Hong Kong.
"The plan is to go as you don't get invites like this very often and it should be a great adventure. He will fly out from Stanstead with the other horses from the south and he will handle any ground as long as it's not too firm."
