Midnight Chase is to make his first appearance in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on November 3.
Neil Mulholland's stable star, who has a terrific record at Cheltenham, claimed his biggest success so far in the Argento Chase at the home of jumping.
The 10-year-old missed the Grand National and has been given a break since weakening to seventh in the Gold Cup.
"He'll go to the Charlie Hall at Wetherby and he's looking really well," said Mulholland. "To be honest, he looks as good as he ever has."
