Betfred Cambridgeshire hero Bronze Angel could return to Newmarket for Saturday's Group Three Darley Stakes.
The progressive three-year-old returned from a three-month break to land the prestigious heritage handicap last month and could have his fimal run of the campaign at the weekend.
Trainer Marcus Tregoning said: "There is a possibility Bronze Angel could run in the Darley Stakes on Saturday. He is going to do one more bit of work and then we will decide but he's coming off a good win so he may well go there.
"He has come out of Cambridgeshire in fantastic form and we are very pleased with him.
"It was terrific to win the Cambridgeshire - you can get carried away making these plans but it all fell right on the day and I was very pleased to win it. I think if he had kept straight he may have won by two lengths.
"He fits the profile of a progressive three-year-old and he seems to be improving with every race. I think he can make his mark at Group Three level, but whether it's this year or not, I don't know.
"I can see him getting further than nine furlongs in the future and I always thought we would have to go further with him, but we haven't had to do it yet.
"As he gets more mature, he will get a mile and a quarter plus I would hope and he is an exciting horse for next year."
