Danedream: Ryan Moore's idea of the value in the Arc market.
Ryan Moore is surprised last year's winner Danedream isn't a clear favourite for the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp next month.
The sidelined rider watched the key trials at the Paris track last week and saw nothing to frighten the defending champion, who has added the Betfair-sponsored King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot to her CV
Writing in his exclusive column at www.betfair.com/ryanmoore he said: "To varying degrees, I was impressed by all three of the Arc Trial winners last weekend - and by one in particular - but I don't know what Danedream needs to do to get the recognition she deserves.
"She should be the clear favourite for the race, and I suspect were she trained by a "bigger" name - and if this sounds disrespectful to Peter Schiergen, then I can assure you it is anything but - then she would be approaching half the 6.2 odds she currently is on Betfair.
"Yes, it is a competitive and high-class Arc, depth-wise. Though it is one that possibly lacks a superstar. But if any horse is going to prove a class apart in the Arc, it is surely her."
Danedream is a 4-1 chance with Sky Bet for the Arc.
