Fiona Mullins: Could be discharged on Sunday
Fiona Mullins escaped serious injury in a fall at the Curragh on Saturday evening.
The rider was detained in Naas General Hospital overnight after being unshipped from First Friday in the Curragh Amateur Derby.
First Friday led the field for a couple of furlongs from five out only to weaken and clip heels over a furlong from the finish.
"She's fine. She had a brain scan last evening, she's perfect and they were hoping to discharge her today," said the Irish Turf Club's chief medical officer Dr Adrian McGoldrick.
