Frankie Dettori: Turkish delight as he struck aboard Hunter's Light
Frankie Dettori made a successful visit to Turkey as Hunter's Light took the Group Two Anatolia Trophy at Veliefendi.
The four-year-old was held off a decent early pace and having made some headway as they began the turn in, readily picked up the leaders to post a convincing victory.

The Roger Varian trained Shimmering Surf was sent off as a warm 6-4 favourite for the Group Three contest but she could only finish fifth as the prize went the way of the French raider, Pagera. Andrew Balding's Opera Gal fared better, finishing three lengths adrift of the winner in second.
