Andrew Oliver has next month's Moyglare Stud Stakes in mind as the next port of call for his unbeaten juvenile Sendmylovetorose.
After a most impressive debut at Navan in early June, the filly headed to Royal Ascot as a major contender for the Albany Stakes.
However, after becoming wedged underneath the starting stalls, she had to be withdrawn at the start.
She has since proved that frightening experience had no lasting effect by winning at the Curragh and completing her hat-trick in the Cherry Hinton Stakes at Newmarket's July meeting.
Oliver considered supplementing his stable star for a Group race this weekend, but he has elected to wait for the Moyglare on September 9.
"She's in good form and we did toy with the idea of supplementing her for either the Phoenix Stakes or the Debutante Stakes this weekend," said Oliver.
"But we just felt it would be a difficult task for her to take on the colts in the Phoenix and she would have to carry a Group Two penalty in the Debutante, so we've decided to wait and go straight to the Moyglare Stud Stakes with her.
"She had quite a busy time of things earlier in the season and although she's very tough, it is bound to take some sort of toll and the break won't do her any harm.
Form Franked
"She had three runs in just over a month and you could say effectively she had four runs having done all the travelling and everything to Royal Ascot."
The Cherry Hinton form is already working out well with the runner-up Maureen subsequently landing the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot.
Many felt Maureen was an unlucky loser at Headquarters but Oliver does not subscribe to this theory.
"It's nice to see the form being franked and for Maureen to do what Richard Hannon thought she could do," said the trainer.
"She probably was unlucky at Newmarket as she got stopped in her run and was finishing fast, but Colm (O'Donoghue, jockey) is adamant that if it had come to a ding-dong battle, our filly would still have won and I believe him.
"You can't knock what she's done far, she's had three runs and won each time and I just hope she can keep progressing the way she is doing.
"She's in the Cheveley Park Stakes later on and that's a possible, but our main target at this stage is the Moyglare."
