Midnight Soprano could be lining up in the Artemis Goodwood Cup next month providing ground conditions are suitable.
The Paul Deegan-trained mare ran a brave race in defeat at the the Curragh on Sunday, finding only the improving Hartani too strong in the Curragh Cup.
Midnight Soprano had previously rattled off five wins on the spin, including at Listed level, and might now head across the Irish Sea for the first time in her career.
Deegan said: "Midnight Soprano is in brilliant form. I'm amazed how well she looks.
"The winner loved the ground and we didn't, but she's still run very well.
"She doesn't like it soft and was never really comfortable with it on Sunday.
"She still goes better on it than most, though, but we'll take our time with her now.
"The plan going forward before the Curragh was to run in the Goodwood Cup.
"It's still an option, but it all depends on the ground and how she is in the build-up to the race."
