Much travelled mare Invincible Ash is likely to have her first outing of the year in her native Ireland on Saturday, providing ground conditions are suitable.
Trainer Michael Halford reports the seven-year-old in fine shape and refreshed following long journeys to Dubai and Singapore as she prepares to return to the fray in the Woodies DIY Sapphire Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday.
Should conditions be suitable, she will attempt to repeat her win of last year in the Group Three contest over five furlongs.
"She's an intended runner, but she's ground dependent," said the County Kildare-based handler.
"We'll be keeping our fingers crossed the rain stays away.
"She's as well as I've ever seen her."
