Newmarket based trainer Marco Botti will consider coming back in trip with Planteur following his disappointing run in Wednesday's Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The five-year-old had sound place claims after finishing third in the Dubai World Cup and the Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp, but came home a well-beaten seventh.
"He was a bit disappointing as we were expecting him to run much better than that," said Botti.
"Christophe (Soumillon) felt the mile and a quarter on a stiff track like Ascot was a bit too far for him.
"The race panned out well for him and he had every chance, but it looked like he just didn't get him home.
"I think he gets an easier mile and a quarter, so he could go for something like the Arlington Million, or he could come back in trip and run in something like the Celebration Mile (Goodwood).
"There are possibilities for him."
