Ryan Moore was crowned leading jockey at Royal Ascot 2012 with five winners following a dramatic tussle with William Buick.
The latter had topped the charts following Camborne's victory in the penultimate Duke of Edinburgh Stakes, but Moore had the final word 35 minutes later.
The former champion jockey was reunited with Tuesday's Ascot Stakes winner Simenon, who added to his vast gains in the concluding Queen Alexandra Stakes.
Buick also secured five winners, but had one third place to Moore's two.
Moore's other winners were Sea Moon (Hardwicke Stakes), Estimate (Queen's Vase) and Fast Or Free (Britannia Stakes).
Buick's four other victories - Joviality (Windsor Forest Stakes), Fallen For You (Coronation Stakes), Gatewood (Wolferton Handicap) and Newfangled (Albany Stakes - were, like Camborne, all supplied by John Gosden, who was named leading trainer for the week.
Moore said: "You realise how hard it is to ride winners here and I am really pleased with how the week has gone.
"Simenon has given me two winners, and Sea Moon was very impressive. I was very pleased to see him put in another performance like he did in the Great Voltigeur.
"Any winner here is good, and the one for the Queen (Estimate) was extra special, even though I'd rather it had been Carlton House."
Attendance Drop
Ascot's executive, meanwhile, was unfazed by the drop in attendances on Thursday and Friday.
Although the final day crowd was 77,863, up on 76, 965 last year, the figure overall was 280,268 compared to 294,385 12 months ago.
Nick Smith, Ascot head of media relations, said: "We are very confident we will be back to normal next year. We are very relaxed about the whole thing.
"We had more than 3,000 more people here on Tuesday and the hospitality was up 10 percent on last year.
"Saturday is such a popular day we can ride the drops of earlier in the week."
Chief executive Charles Barnett said: "It's been an absolutely tremendous week, capped off with the great Black Caviar winning the Diamond Jubilee Stake in unusual but exciting circumstances.
"There's so many wonderful memories from the week, including victories for the Queen, for Frankie Dettori, for Frankel and for visiting runners from Hong Kong, Germany and Ireland, in addition to those from Britain and of course Black Caviar from Australia.
"Saturday's crowd figure is exceptional and we are delighted with the increase we achieved on Tuesday. We knew we would have a reduction on Thursday and Friday for reasons we have explained (a planned reduction in grandstand capacity). All in all we have to consider it has been a vintage Royal Ascot."
