I'll Have Another will race from post 11 when he attempts to complete the American Triple Crown in Saturday's Belmont Stakes.
A field of 12 will go to post with the Kentucky Derby and Preakness hero a 4-5 chance on the morning-line odds in America.
Union Rags and Dullahan are seen as his biggest dangers having missed the second leg of the Triple Crown, as has been the case with many recent Belmont winners. They race from three and five respectively.
Doug O'Neill, trainer of I'll Have Another, told the Daily Racing Form: "Being in post position 11 will allow us to see how the pace sets up."
The full Belmont Stakes field is:
1 Street Life
2 Unstoppable U
3 Union Rags
4 Atigun
5 Dullahan
6 Ravelo's Boy
7 Five Sixteen
8 Guyana Star Dweej
9 Paynter
10 Optimizer
11 I'll Have Another
12 My Adonis
