Mick Channon is considering aiming the two fillies who completed last Friday's across-the-card double, Laugh Out Loud and Sandreamer, at Royal Ascot.
Laugh Out Loud, who was eighth in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas, managed to secure a Listed race at York while the stable were thrilled when Sandreamer scored on her debut at Newmarket, as the Channon two-year-olds have been generally needing a run.
"We were pleased with her Guineas run and she's making into a very promising prospect," Channon said of Laugh Out Loud.
"The Coronation Stakes looks the most likely now. Like many trainers, the Guineas gave us plenty of questions to be answered and now she's got black type, it's time to have another go at the highest level.
Aggressive Athlete
"High summer will see her really flourish I think. She's competitive, aggressive and a real athlete. It'll be fun to see how good she can become."
Of Sandreamer, he told www.mickchannon.tv: "A lovely filly this who's bred to be sharp and obviously being able to win first time up is encouraging when taking into account the amount of improvement we like to see from them on their second outings.
"She's mentally very straightforward and Jon and Julia (Aisbitt, owners) are quite rightly very ambitious.
"I'd imagine we'll be looking at Royal Ascot, probably the Albany, and I wouldn't hesitate to go straight there now."
